Disneyland Paris hotel to close again, others extend closure

Disneyland Paris has officially announced the closure and extended closure of many hotels on site.

A new reopening date has been announced for the Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Sequoia Lodge, confirming that Disneyland Paris has extended its closures. Additionally, it has been announced that Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne – which reopened earlier this month – will in fact close at the end of next month.

Below are the official statements from the Disneyland Paris website regarding the operation of Disneyland Paris hotels. Note that Disney’s Newport Bay Club and Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe remain open for the time being. Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch and Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel will remain closed with reopening dates announced later.

Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne will close next month

Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne will be closed from September 30 to March 2, 2021 inclusive

If you already have a Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne during this time, please review our current reservation and cancellation policies. During this closing period, we invite you to stay at one of our other Disney Hotels.

As part of our new enhanced health and safety measures for Cast Members and Guests, certain services within the Hotel have been adapted.

Kids’ play areas and pony rides aren’t available, while buffet restaurants have changed to a new all-you-can-eat table service offering. Reservations are strongly recommended for all table service restaurants.

The experiences of the Disney characters have also been adapted slightly. We provide memorable photo opportunities for guests, but close interactions, including hugs, are temporarily suspended.

The Single Rider and FASTPASS lines are unavailable in order to ensure the best possible organization of the queues.

As part of our new enhanced health and safety measures for Cast Members and Guests, certain services within the Hotel have been adapted.

The hammam, sauna and valet parking service will not be available when the Hotel reopens, while the buffet restaurants will evolve into a new all-you-can-eat table service offer. Reservations are strongly recommended for all table service restaurants.

The experiences of the Disney characters have also been adapted slightly. We provide memorable photo opportunities for guests, but close interactions, including hugs, are temporarily suspended.

Disneyland Paris officially reopened over a month ago on July 15. Since then, theme parks have welcomed visitors with new health and safety measures in place.
