“A long well-cut wool coat, a pair of leather boots and nice flared jeans.”
de Vilmorin turns to some of the great designers of the 1980s to 2000s such as Alexander McQueen, Thierry Mugler, John Galliano and Jean-Charles de Castelbajac “for their very creative and conceptual vision”.
“The Niki dress from my first couture collection.”
Although de Vilmorin is not a great lover of jewelry, he has never parted with his grandfather’s signet ring, which he wears every day.
“I love shoes, especially low-heeled ankle boots. They allow me to proudly walk down the street. His favourites? A classic and elegant Rochas pair and the tabi by Maison Margiela.
“I admit that I prefer to leave empty-handed as soon as possible”, confides de Vilmorin, but if he had to choose only one bag, it would be his vintage Longchamp offered by a friend.
