Martha Stewart’s name may not sound like casinos and the Las Vegas Strip. But this is precisely where the media personality and businesswoman embarks on her next adventure.
Like Casino.org been reporting since last July, Stewart is setting up a house on the Las Vegas Strip and she invites you to be her guest. The 80-year-old has partnered with Caesars Entertainment to develop her first restaurant.
“The Bedford by Martha Stewart,” as the restaurant is called, is slated to open at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino this spring. Stewart’s foray into restaurant service will feature culinary creations from his favorite vendors, both locally and across the country.
Our menu will be delicious, featuring the same types of foods that I serve to my friends and family. The architecture and decor of the spaces cleverly exemplifies the beauty and atmosphere you might find at my beautiful farmhouse in Bedford, New York. Dining at Bedford will be immersive, fun, unexpected and utterly delicious ”, said Stewart.
Caesars said Stewart herself designed the interior of the Bedford Restaurant. The “intimate 194-seat restaurant will give patrons an authentic glimpse into how she lives and entertains in her own home,” added the casino operator.
Martha Stewart’s next restaurant replaces Martorano’s in Paris. The high-end Italian seal officially closed in October, although it was scheduled to end long before.
Martha Stewart and Las Vegas don’t seem to go hand in hand.
For older generations, Martha Stewart’s name is synonymous with her syndicated television show designed for entertainment, and possibly the Saturday Night Live parodies. To others, Stewart is best known for her infamous insider trading scandal that landed her in federal prison for nearly five months. Younger children might think of Snoop Dogg when they hear Martha Stewart.
The grandmother hopes her name will soon bring to mind Las Vegas. Stewart says Caesars was the perfect partner to develop his first restaurant. She adds that Bedford will bring culinary delights from Vermont, Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey to the Strip. The restaurant will also supply California caviar and local produce from the Las Vegas Farmer’s Market.
New Year, New Restaurants
The year 2022 has arrived, and many new restaurants will soon be in Las Vegas.
Vegas Eater This week unveiled its list of the “26 Most Anticipated Restaurant and Bar Openings in 2022,” and 12 are located inside casinos on the Strip. With the restaurant of Martha Stewart, who made the Vegas Eater To list, celebrities opening new restaurants on the Strip this year include Buddy Valastro of “Cake Boss” fame, celebrity chef Bobby Flay and Lisa Vanderpump of reality TV fame Bravo.
Valastro opens the “Boss Café” inside Harrah’s. Flay’s “Bobby’s Burgers” opens in Paris, as does Vanderpump’s “Vanderpump in Paris”.
The Parisian culinary offer is undergoing a complete overhaul. The Strip Casino recently opened one of the most anticipated restaurant debuts with its September debut from Nobu. Nobu in Paris is the third establishment of restaurateur Nobu Matsuhisa and his development and ownership team, which includes Hollywood actor Robert De Niro.
