This new Parisian hotel is set to open inside the Louvre post office building – and the suites will have a view of the Eiffel Tower

Good things happen to those who wait, and after eight years of patience, visitors to Paris can finally settle into a brand new hotel with a location that is both iconic and historic: the 19th-century Louvre post office building. .

The highly anticipated Hôtel Madame Rêve, which will open at the end of October in the fashionable 1st arrondissement of Paris, is expected to draw a hip crowd with designer boutiques, impressive museums, cozy cafes and plenty of restaurants nearby. Building on its close ties to the Louvre, the hotel also plans to work with the museum to create exclusive experiences for guests.

For accommodation, guests can choose from 82 designer rooms, including 19 top-floor suites that overlook the property’s vertical garden or the Parisian cityscape below. For the best viewing pleasure, opt for the suites with views of well-known attractions such as the Eiffel Tower, the Sacré-Coeur and Notre-Dame.

Fortunately, the suites aren’t the only place guests can glimpse these dreamy Parisian cityscapes. Hôtel Madame Rêve will also have a rooftop terrace on the fourth floor with 360-degree views of the city. This expansive deck will also have a bar, so guests can sip their favorite cocktail while taking in the views.

When it comes time to savor a meal, guests won’t have to leave the property to take their taste buds around the world. On the ground floor, a 19th century café serves Mediterranean-style cuisine all day. For those who want to dine al fresco, the restaurant has an open-air terrace that spans a private pedestrian street. Meanwhile, a more modernized experience can be found on the third floor, in a high-tech 21st-century restaurant and bar serving Japanese-influenced cuisine.
